“Libertà” si ispira alla filosofia della Fluxus Art. Questo movimento artistico, nato negli anni ‘60, propone un approccio alla creazione che enfatizza la spontaneità, la casualità e l’interazione tra l’artista e il materiale. Nel contesto della Fluxus Art, “Libertà” si manifesta attraverso forme scolpite che emergono in modo apparentemente casuale. L’artista abbraccia l’idea che la creazione artistica debba fluire liberamente, senza essere condizionata da regole rigide o da un controllo eccessivo da parte dell’artista. Le forme che si susseguono sulla superficie della pietra sono il risultato di un processo aperto, in cui le forze interne dell’artista e la natura della pietra interagiscono spontaneamente. La pietra lavica dell’Etna, con la sua origine vulcanica e la sua forza primordiale, si presta bene a questo approccio artistico. La scultura diventa una sorta di dialogo tra l’artista e il materiale, un’interpretazione visiva del concetto Fluxus che esprime il momento presente, la libertà e l’energia intrinseca. "Libertà" is inspired by the philosophy of Fluxus Art. In the context of Fluxus Art, "Freedom" manifests itself through sculpted forms that emerge in a seemingly random way. The artist embraces the idea that artistic creation must flow freely, without being conditioned by rigid rules or excessive control by the artist. The forms that follow one another on the surface of the stone are the result of an open process, in which the internal forces of the artist and the nature of the stone interact spontaneously. Etna’s lava stone, with its volcanic origin and its primordial strength, lends itself well to this artistic approach. Sculpture becomes a kind of dialogue between the artist and the material, a visual interpretation of the Fluxus concept that expresses the present moment, freedom and intrinsic energy. In short, "Freedom" is a work that follows the philosophy of Fluxus Art, leaving room for randomness and creative instinct, embracing the concept of freedom in artistic creation.
