“Piroga” offre una fusione affascinante tra astrazione e figuratività, narrando la storia dell’esplorazione umana attraverso il simbolo della piroga. 

La piroga, come il primo mezzo di trasporto per esplorare il mondo, simboleggia l’inizio dell’avventura umana nella scoperta della terra. La scultura si presenta con linee fluide e forme astratte. La scelta del Calacatta Vena Oro, proveniente dalle cave di Massa, aggiunge una profondità significativa all’opera. Questo materiale non solo arricchisce la scultura con la sua bellezza e preziosità intrinseche, ma porta anche con sé una storia, poiché con lo stesso materiale i Malaspina arricchirono le proprie dimore. La combinazione di astrazione e la scelta mirata del materiale rendono “Piroga” un’opera che va oltre la sua forma fisica. The sculpture is presented with fluid lines and abstract shapes. The choice of Calacatta Vena Oro, coming from the quarries of Massa, adds a significant depth to the work. This material not only enriches the sculpture with its intrinsic beauty and preciousness, but also brings with it a history, since with the same material the Malaspina enriched their homes.
